What inspired you to make this project?
I'm inspired to more broadly extend the delight and peace that I see experienced when individuals are able to grow something on their own, and participate in the mental and physical environment that gardening creates, in addition to addressing the need for healthier food options that are self-sustaining in West Oakland and other, "Food Deserts".
