Matt & Wendy Maxham

Matt grew up on a farm helping his Dad tinker with all kinds of machines. Since his days on the farm, Matt's worked in a printed circuit board shop, done construction and plumbing, and owned a handyman/maintenance service. He currently works at Western Integrated Technologies, a hydraulic fluid power company. After getting her degree in communications, Wendy worked for several different radio stations as a Traffic Manager, Business Manager, and Controller. She currently works at Hearst Television as a Regional Accounting Manager. Together, as Team PlumbCrazy, Matt & Wendy have fought more than 350 competition and exhibition matches, and won 19 championships. Team PlumbCrazy robots include Sewer Snake, Devil's Plunger, Wipe Out, Angry Asp, Pipe Wench, and Stinger The Killer Bee.

What inspired you to make this project?
We watched BattleBots on Comedy Central in 2000-2002. After attending a live BattleBots event, we caught the bug to build and compete. Combat robots are a perfect combination of design, fabrication, and competition.
