Day Pollini is the Founder and driving force of the Young Sparks Foundation endeavor. Working in collaboration with Laney Community College, this soon-to-be non-profit organization will run an Art Apprenticeship for local under-served Teens and Young Adults. Training youth in basic welding and metal fabrication skills then placing them on a project with a local Metal Sculptor or Creative Fabricator for inspiration and, to gain valuable hands-on experience in these high-demanding trades.
